greenbelt 1st comments

sorry i really wanted to blog from greenbelt live but it just proved too much hassle this year
had the most amazing festival ... worked too hard ... but everything went so smoothly ... looking over my shoulder it was long hard days followed by late nights full of friends and laughter and love

highlights for me (ok really the only things i saw properly) included Peepolykus theatre Co ... so funny and so visual ... and they did the biscuit thing which i have to resist trying in the kitchen now i am home ...also a great broom trick

Duke Special at the Performance Cafe ... what an awesome talent ... i played the ep's all the way home ... he looked amazing and his songs are so original ... oh check them out here ... i love to find soemthing for the first time and get so consumed by music

and Julie Lee who i saw in The Rising two years ago i think ...and loved from the first song she sang ... and this year a new album and i got to catch a complete set ... the song beautiful night that closed her set in the Performance Cafe was exquisite ... soft and loving and so fitting for the end of a night at Greenbelt
